If you’re using ssb and willing to receive cw as well, would you please put an “x” behind ssb in your sota alert?

As a full time qrp operator, I found 2-3W ssb is not strong enough to penetrate atmosphere most of time, but CW has a better chance. Cross mode may not be a good idea for ragchewing, but perfect for a short, relaxing sota qso.

These are quite common on 2m activity nights here. I have many 2m QSOs in my activator logs in which I have TX’d CW but RX’d SSB.
