It was a a bit of a tough day for propagation conditions on 20m CW, but things were still getting through to Europe. Things were still ok, until the antenna fell down in high wind conditions. The amazing thing, I could still hear stations, but keeping the antenna tuned in such a condition was a major challenge. I managed to get the antenna up, but it fell down again a few minutes later.
Congrats to the stations that did get a QSO. You know now why I seemed to stop and start.
In high winds, I think I need guy ropes in sets of 4, not three.
