Activation at Mt. Ganguren EA2/BI-055 with a musical surprise

Lively morning at Mt. Ganguren EA2/BI-055! Just as I arrived, I coincided with the crew setting up to record a music video at the summit. :movie_camera::guitar:

I had to move from my usual spot, where I normally use some rocks near the water tank as a seat. This time, no such comfort—had to operate lying on the grass. It reminded me of my early activations… though getting up and down from the ground isn’t as easy as it used to be. :laughing:

Good propagation on 30m and 20m, though some QSB at times.

As long as you can still hear what’s coming out of your receiver… and don’t disturb the guitar amplifier… everything’s fine!

It’s also good if you have headphones with you… :wink:

Haha, totally agree, Armin! I’m used to wearing headphones, though I have to admit I had to turn up both the receive volume and the sidetone to hear my own transmission. :laughing: At the end of the recording, we chatted about SOTA while sharing a small lunch. A great way to wrap up the activation. 73!
