Radio reports that the A591 beside Thirlmere will reopen at 0800Hrs local, tomorrow. May 11th , plenty of bigwigs there for a junket. good news though.

Yes indeed, good news it is Frank - thanks for the update Rob. I will need to use that road later this month. I am on a walking holiday with around 72 Ramblers members from Yorkshire in the G/LD from 22nd - 27th May. I expect a few of our licensed members as well as myself will be operating from several SOTAs and Wainwrights on 2m FM with simple antennae during the week.
