8m pole at Aldi

Have bought one of these poles this morning to experiment with.
The main advantage compared to other poles is that it is NOT telescopic, the eight 1m sections are simply pushed together so there is no danger of the sections collapsing in on each other.
Seems a fairly decent gauge of glass fibre tubing and weighs about one kg I would estimate.
The standard three element Sotabeam fits tightly at about 5m above ground so only five sections need to be used.
Worth having a look at for £19.99.
