I really enjoyed attending the W7O SOTA Campout for the second time this summer, and enjoying time with ~45 other SOTA activators from across the US. For this campout, I met Derek for the first time and we camped together for 5 days and activated 13 summits for 76 points. It took awhile to edit this video, but fitting that it’s the same time Derek W7DLZ got his 3rd Mountain Goat!
Sharing a summary of the 13 summits Derek & I activated in southern Oregon along with other activators. Tim N7KOM getting his Mountain Goat was a highlight of the campout, along with spending a bit more time with Adam K6ARK and Rob K6KM for the day activating 3 summits.
