Wandered down to the radio club and hooked up the FT-450 to the tri-bander this afternoon. Cranked it towards South America and ran into quite a pile-up.
May well be worth packing something for 10m on your next activation.
Should be good news for the 12m challenge too.

I saw Bob VP8LP spotted on the cluster working the 10m band. Worked him, then found a clear frequency and put out a cq.
I couldn’t buy a contact into Noth America on 10m
