10GHz SOTA

For anyone interested in 10GHz this link may well be of interest as it is a very affordable way of getting active on this interesting band.

Probably the most compact and best priced 10GHz transverter can be
found here:

Ideal for SOTA. With a PCBLog antenna it gets really small form factor

Thanks for the info, Luis. That looks very good!

Thanks Luis. The technical information is a bit limited. Have any been used for SOTA yet?

We used it inside a car as /Mobile 10Ghz station while approaching to the last
V-U-SHF meeting in Avila last month. Was really funny and tricky for the other
station to chase for us with a 50cm dish. But I want to arrange a SOTA this
summer

Not many figures in tech specs. But I have compared it with a Kuhne at that meeting and could receive the same signals with this. Tx pwr is 23dBm. You only
need to add an antenna relay and the IF rig of your choice (FT-817 ??)

Anyone out tomorrow?

In reply to G3CWI:

I was (using G4WLC’s 10GHz kit) for just 2 contacts from G/WB-021 but with the 50cm Dish at 10m AGL on vehicle mounted mast it wouldn’t count for SOTA points.
