I have been in radio communications now for just over three years due to the time my German Shepherd and myself working with k9 search and rescue uh unfortunately we had to stop die to getting to old foir running 8 miles a day for 3 tmes a week including weekends. We were told that we had to get our technician licence. Immediately I got my general ticket six months later and loved all aspect of ham radio.I enjoy hiking with my dog and learn now to be a chssser for not til I get a small hf radio to carry in my back pack with my other equipment for which is needed for a new radio. I enjoy mostly ssb. Hf I do have my togo box I built for emergency contain a vhf and uhf tyt and a ts718 recover which weighs about 10 ponds.Plse extra stuff that is needed for a emergency. Looking forward to many qso's.
