Sorry, I meant generally. I actually didn’t make any observations on Tuesday night, just looked up and thought how lovely it was!
Anyway, last night I added 22 QSOs on 2m FT8, and this morning one of 2m FM, to take my week’s total (so far) from The Cloud G/SP-015 to 115 contacts on 2m. So I did hit the three figures - not in a day/activation - but in less than 25 hours
Tom,
Unfortunately I couldn’t get out to my local summit Beacon Batch so had to contend with a 3e beam in the loft. Unlike a previous occasion… I couldn’t hear you at all !
All in all, I ended up having a miserable session with only 5 contacts.
Here’s hoping 2024 lets me get out more and back up on higher ground.
73, Lea.
Tom, you might be able to recognise the Pleiades quite easily, and under a clear, dark sky and with a modest binoculars, you should be able to pick up the Andromeda Galaxy which is in my opinion the most beautiful object of our hemisphere. Have a look to the Messier’s table, you might find something interesting and generally easy to identify.
