Ramblings and reports 2009

In reply to G4ERP:

Thanks Richard, that makes it far clearer. We had believed that the tarmac drive was part of the farm. I have on a couple of occasions had reason to knock a door to ask permission or confirm I was in the right place, I am always a little nervous about doing it. I don’t know why because most of the time no one answers the door and when they do they have been friendly. Maybe I am worried I will be met by someone as grumpy as me and be told to “Bog off!”

I know what you mean about farmers. Our worst example was a lonely gamekeeper. We were somewhat perturbed when he approached with a shotgun cocked over his arm but he just wanted to talk and talk. Fortunately it was after the activation.

Breaking News…

I am now the proud owner of three new domain names.

My blog is now simply http://www.cqhq.co.uk

I also have obtained both http://www.gw7aav.com & http://www.gw7aav.co.uk
which will become live when I complete a revamp of the website.
Consequently it make take some time for the reports above to appear and the blog may not receive the attention I would like for a few days.

Thanks to James at Elite Technologies http://www.elite-technologies.co.uk/ for their setting up of the new domains that were active in under 15 minutes from receiving the order. Please note their website is undergoing a rebuild at the moment and what you see now is a place holder.
