How was it for you?

Currently sitting in the car park at Glencoe ski. Uplift hoping to open, weather is somewhat grim. Thinking an afternoon pass if it opens. Just glad I’m not out walking. But am kicking myself I didn’t bring the wireless set. Am in mates camper van so pretty comfy with electric hook up, we’re here overnight, raclette machine and plenty cheese on board plus plenty booze. Just kicking myself about the lack of radio set on which I could talk to the miserable souls out on a hill

Yeah, I understand your feeling.
Now you write 100 times:
“I won’t do this again”
Cheers,

Obviously not out on a training exercise in preparation for the hills then Andy.

At least you haven’t ridden down it on a mountain bike …

I have never felt so scared in my life. The weather was atrocious at the time, as it typically is up there.

Scotland scares me somewhat …

I just skied down there! Good skiing all the way to the car park now.

Conditions pretty aweful up top, turning to blizzard whiteout at the end. Turning to snow down here in the car park, beware anyone venturing onto GM mountains, conditions are full on winter. Skiing snow is awesome

I’m in training for ski trip to France in two weeks Gerald, got to work on getting that cheese consumption up.

And those little pieces of pipe lagging are really going to help…

No but I’ve walked up past that twice now.

They’re so those coming to pick up the remains of the bike and biker don’t get splinters.

HA !

Yes I can explain that. On a barbed wire fence the pipe lagging can save your skin - literally.

However, I am not so sure there, might take the “edge” off things ;). British cycling have some strange ideas.

Impressed Andy ? Its one of the hardest tracks in the UK, Anoach moor holds the world cup every year.

Impressed was not the word! They were doing it in the mist part way. You could hear the noise a long time before you could see them hurtle past.

Oh right ! Yes, cruise missile - never get too close.
