I am very happy to see this activation report!

I spent more than a month in Salzburg in spring this year and I come there every now and then, but I never had time to activate the Gaisberg as a SOTA. Working duties only allowed me to go up there with a car several times. What can I say? Beautiful view to Salzburg and to the other local classic the Untersberg.

Gaisberg must be a wonderful summit for VHF I guess, because the commercial radio from there can be heard few hundred kilometers up to the Bavarian Forest. Also the OE2XSL repeater can be heard in OK under good condx.
