Going SOTA /P with WSJT-X

Tom,

Would you tell me the keyer (brand and model) shown on the first picture?

Thank you.

The <> signs around a callsign show that the callsign wasn’t in the received message but that WSJT-X has worked it out based on a previous message. This is how it deals with special callsigns. I’ve operated GB19BAN and GB19HL on FT8 for the Cricket World Cup marathon and it all worked just fine.

There are still some very long callsigns that it can’t handle.

But the use of Web SDRs via the internet is permitted, I understand. It is a nonsense.

Don’t do it then. I don’t.
