Ex-Pat Pomm (Brit) living in Germany (actually Bavaria - note the significant difference) after having lived in Australia for 19 years. Returned to the AR hobby in 2011 after 35 years away from it. I started as a Class B VHF/UHF UK operator in 1972. When I returned to the hobby, I found that, because of the removal of the need to pass a Morse code test, I had full rights to all bands/power, etc. under all three of my current call signs - DD5LP, VK2JI, G8GLM. I attained SOTA Mountain Goat status in 2021.
