I live in the foothills of SC and the nearest peak for me is Sassafras Mountain in Pickens County, which is approximately 45 miles away. I try to activate that peak at least once a year.
It is still fun to work a SOTA station, or two, from the comfort of my shack. I am trying to get to Shack Sloth status and I am almost half way there. I hope to work you.
