Hi, I’m Gabriele (Gab)
I got my Italian license back in 2006 with IZ1KSW call. I moved to Spain (where I currently live) in 2011 and I converted my Italian license to a Spanish one obtaining the EA7JUG call.

I’ve always loved mountains, hiking and some light climbing, I fell in love with Dolomites when I was a kid and, whenever I can, I go back to spend some times in those beautiful places. My passion for radio also goes back to when I was a teenager. Being able to make radio on a mountain is somehow the perfect combination for me.

Recently (2016) I became father and time for SOTA became really minimal, however I’m always happy when I can find some time to spend with my radio (FT-817) on some summit.

I hope to meet you soon on the AIR.
