My name is Carine. Originally I am from the canton Wallis. Wallis is located in the south-west of Switzerland. Since 2005 I live in a small village called “Grindel” in the canton Solothurn, in the beautiful “Solothurner Schwarzbubenland” in north-west of Switzerland about 20km south to the german boarder.

My husband René, HB9NBG brought me up to the passion of HAM radio. He has his license since 1990 and is still delighted with HAM radio.
After my Trainings-course with the FACB (Funk Amateur Club Basel) I received my CEPT license in December 2015.

René and I we are very delighted with mountain-hiking and HAM-Radio. So, the SOTA-operation is one of our greatest passions

On our SOTA-Tours we always take a lot of pictures and make some summit-videoclips especially on our new uniques. You can find a lot of videos around SOTA and HAM-Radio on HB9NBG+HB9FZC’s YouTube-Channel
