And here are some photos and activation report:
We started our hike around 10am local time, and even that we had some map and GPS we wondered 1 hour (5km) to find a bridge. After we decided to try another route, we found the trail (blue dot) and started our hike.

First hour was just climbing with a bit of snow. But it started to get harder due to the snow and fallen trees:

Around 13:30 local time we got to the first peak Tifra.

Then the snow started to be bigger and advance was slower.

We didn’t expected that much snow.

After another hour and a half of hiking through the snow we got to the summit and quickly installed my antenna.

Started to CQ SOTA on 14.290 but after 2 QSO with RA6YJ and 4O3RR i had to change freq because of QRM.

After 10 minutes of trying to find an empty spot and CQ-ing, @2E0FEH finally found me and spotted me on the cluster.

Mike, @G6TUH followed, then a small pileup started. It was hard to make QSO with everyone calling. There was someone helping a bit (I don’t know if I even made QSO with him) , but I was running out of time already with some snow storm coming and my hiking friends (including my son and XYL) starting to freeze.

Because the others started to move and XYL “requested” that we should do the same I’ve decided to go QRT and pack everything. We still had to walk 10km with only 1 hour of sunlight.

We walked for another 4 hours (about 2-3hours using headlights) but we got back safe.

In total, over 20km, 10 hours but only 11 QSO.

Sorry for all the chasers I didn’t replied, but it was a quick activation because of the weather.
Happy new Year !!
