QRT due to forest fire on base of summit of w6/ct-050 - Delamar Mt. Made four QSOs on 40m then I knew it was time to go when I couldn’t hear the radio in my headphones because of the airborne water tanker directly overhead! Turns out the fire had started last night on the south flank of the summit in a small area. Apologies to all. Will try another time!
