Apologies to those chasers wanting to QSO during my activation of Butler Peak W6/CT-009 on Sunday 19 July. I had hoped to be on air until 2300 but found myself on summit surrounded by thunder clouds and lightning around 2200, and I had driven up earlier in the day on a motorcycle! Had to scurry down the mountain 4x4 dirt road on my motorcycle in the storm. Thanks to all the chasers I did work while in the fire tower that day… til next time.
