I stayed the night in Bristol Virginia, then drove to the GPS Locationed listed for the Summit. It was only about 38 miles from where I was staying but it took over an hour to get there. It was a nice drive, when I got close to the top of the summit I came across two other trucks. I stopped and talked to the one driver for a couple of seconds and then picked a spot to operate.
I did learn that if I am going to use a tuner, to make sure to disengage it for bands that my antenna already works on.
