Yes, right now we essentially have two parallel spotting systems. Old code that hasn’t been updated is using API2. VK Port-a-log, SOTA Goat, SOTA Activator, SOTA Spotter to name a few.

We will get this sorted, but for now I recommend only using SOTAWatch, SOTLAS, APRS2SOTA, or SMS to send / receive spots.

This is a temporary situation that will get resolved.

Because of the change in schema this is very difficult to address through the usual means of redirects. I will try write a translation layer but I can’t guarantee it’ll return correct information.
