After making a similar design, I found that 40m is no so easy to tune, as the 1:81 relationship is higher than necessary for the antena being at so low height (typical 6-9 sota m pole). Perhaps a better ratio compromise would be 1:64.
While browsing thru the net searching for EFHW information, I found this discussion, with a lot of info about this. The high losses of the 43 material, optimal ratio of the unun, and the height problem are here also discussed.

Thank you for your reply. I agree 43 is probably not the best material and I am looking at other mixes, thank you for the link. My mast is lower (~4.5 m) so I find 1:81 works for me in a sloper configuration. Z will decrease as the height increases in my experience. My mast is carbon fiber which affects 40m tuning. Since my mast is shorter, the antenna wire is more perpendicular to the mast so the effects are less. I found tuning of all three segments to have interaction and took some work to get reasonable. 73 de AI6XG

Thank you for the reply and the link. The primary capacitor is not needed for 20 meters and longer. But there is merit in using a capacitor for shorter wavelengths. I hope to use the shorter wavelength bands as sun spots get more active! These are just my measurements, other configurations may be different:
