Trans-Atlantic S2S Event - 1st and 2nd November 2025

I will be on an Arizona summit (W7A/YV-077) around 1400 looking for EU…CW and SSB on 10/15/20 meters…maybe some 12 meter if it is open. Will stay on the air as long as I continue to hear EU on any band.

Running about 25 watts this year…nice clear shot to EU from my summit…hoping the flares stay away for sure.

Listen for the weak ones Saturday!

There’s a two-hour break in the rain forecast from ~1300utc [although the wx forecast for G/LD is notorious for changing a lot]. So, I hope to be under tarp then for 17, 15, 12 and 10m CW [other bands possible with my Cha MPAS Lite vertical].

I’ll be lugging >13kg of rucksack so I can be QRO (25-30W) for a rare change with my bulky FT857, big battery and ATU [instead of my little KX2]. I hope that will improve my chances of being heard on N/A summits.

Best of luck with Ionosphere and WX tomorrow for everyone… I’m helping out at the GM uWave Round Table so wont be able to play. Maybe Sunday.

I will be on HB/AG-012. Vertical antenna, FT-891 with enough batteries for 6 hours@full power.

Rain is forecasted as of 1800 UTC.
I plan to stay on the summit until it gets wet or until batteries are depleted, whatever is going to happen first.

I should be on F/PE-103 at around 1300 to 1500 UTC.
Vertical whip 20 to 10 m and 10W.

Weather is not looking promising though :expressionless_face:

I’ll be on G/NP-028 from 1300 to 1600UTC, perhaps longer. Plan is to use 15m, 12m and 10m but will have other bands available if needed. Weather is forecast to get better as the day goes on so I’m hopeful. I had S2S with US a couple of weeks ago on 20m and 10m so fingers crossed for tomorrow.
