Poundland currently have 8’ telescoping fishing poles for sale. Would be ok for making a Moxon or similar for 50Mhz, using 4 of them as the cross bracing. The top 2 sections are too flimsy, but the others would be ok for a lightweight wire. You could use 4 of the discarded top sections for a 2m or 70cm Moxon.
