There was a nice opening on the 10m band yesterday. Unfortunately I wasn’t on a summit, but I was able to chase portablely with the kx2, Heinrich on 15m as well.

I love the 10m band when it opens up. I’ve never done a SOTA activation using this band, but definitely want to try it soon!

I’ve just added 10m (and 12m) to my homebrew CW rig and today I made a 10m groundplane so I’m looking forward to trying this band on a SOTA activation. I’m guessing it’s pot luck whether I’ll make any contacts though, at least until the F layer livens up.
