A full report on these activations will appear in due course, in the meantime please accept mine and Gerald G4OIG’s apologies for our sudden disappearance at approx. 1600 today - a snow shower started and seemingly “at the flick of a switch” put S9+ noise right across both bands, making it impossible to copy any stations.
Many thanks to all who did contact us on both summits, we had an excellent day out despite the occasionally adverse weather conditions.
