With a nice forecast weather (wind 15Km/h), I approached the Hoya de la Mora (2550m), but there were already strong winds there. I started the climb to Veleta Peak (3396m.) In the hope that the wind would drop. But at the summit the wind reached moments of 90km / h, strong noise, impossible SSB, only CW and with great difficulty to hearing.
Only one operation hour, 35 QSO in 20, 30, and 40m. and the broken pole.

Hola a todos, con buenas predicciones meteo (viento 15Km/h) me acerquĂ© a la Hoya de la Mora (2550m.) pero allĂ ya soplaba fuerte el viento. Con la esperanza de que amainara el viento inicie la subida al Veleta (3396m.). Pero no, arriba habĂa rachas de 90 Km/h, que hacĂan un ruido infernal, imposible SSB, solo CW y con gran dificultad para oĂr.
Una hora de operación 35 QSO en 20,30, y 40m y además el mástil roto.

i was trying to call you yesterday from HB/BE-101, but it seems i was too late already, i saw the message on vk-port-a-log 20 mns ago… A pity as i would have like to contact you once you were on the other side - an activator !
Good to hear only the pole was broken and you did not have any problems descending.

, I would have liked to make S2S with you but I could not stay longer at the summit. In the future there will be more occasions, soon I will try EA7/GR-001 between August 1st and 3rd
