First of all may I apologise as this is not directly related with SOTA, but as a long standing member of the SOTA fraternity I know how helpful you ladies and gentlemen are. I therefore thought you would not mind me asking for your help.
Tomorrow the 9th October 2010 between 10:00 to 16:00 local time, 2454 Warbreck Squadron are holding a radio event at the Central Lanc’s Amateur Radio Club in Preston to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain under call sign GB2WAR.
This is also a sponsored event to try to raise funds for much needed radio equipment. I would like to request any chasers or activators available on Saturday to call the station as it would be very much appreciated. The more contacts the Cadets get the more funds we can raise and the more experience they will get as these are newly licensed amateurs.
