Special callsigns for 2012

In reply to 2E0NHM:

M0COW would become M0O COW and M0NER MO0NER :<)

In reply to GW7AAV:

I seem to recall that G4MEN was the Club callsign of a well known manufacturer of instruments used in the Aviation Industry (and for the home too).

The holder of G4MEN appears to be G3CXI.

Hi Stewart,

My club callsign is G1MAD, which sums the place up quite nicely

The thought of having 2 Q’s in my callsign is too much to bear.

One is enough. Two would be taking the Micky. (Sorry Micky).

I wonder if G6QQ will be applying for an NoV.

Applications for the NoV required to use these special prefixes are now being taken at -
http://www.rsgb.org/operating/novapp/jubilee
http://www.rsgb.org/operating/novapp/olympics

It is a fast and simple process, the NoVs being sent by return as attached pdf files.

I will echo that comment, that was incredibly fast!

It took me less than 3 minutes from start, to having both the emailed NOV’s here.

Very simple process
