That is interesting and I didn’t know that. There is also a stone near Meikle Tap by the Hill of Fare called Queen’s Chair where legend has it Mary Queen of Scots watched the battle of Corrichie! The area is full of history and great scenery. I had great views when I did Craiglich but had a dodgy walk up in the slurry with the cows looking on in the field by the road. Luckily they were all gone on my return walk!
