SOTA restrictions - Portuguese Communications Authority

Hi all

Portuguese Communications Authority issue a statement in which declares the radio easements with special emphasis to SOTA activations, which are mentioned in the statement.
The reasoning behind this are the monitoring stations across the country (CT, CT3 and CU). An easement of 500m around each one was established.

Fortunatly, only CT/ES-010, Monte Serves, (closest summit to Lisboa) is inside the easement.

So, from 11SEPT onwards if one want to activate that summit a special permit should be asked (an email with some details, no big deal…) acoordingly to https://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1416982

If any foreign amateur radio operator want to activate CT/ES-010 I will be pleased to help in asking the clearance.

Thanks for this information Pedro. Would it be an idea to add this to the summit info at http://www.sota.org.uk/Summit/CT/ES-010

73, Hans PB2T
