Even better, use a heatmap:
Think of a DEM of a virtual landscape which represents the userâs activations. The peaks in this virtual landscape are determined by the userâs activation locations and frequency. The landscape then drops away from the peaks in a defined (e.g. logartyhmic) curve.
Then use the elevation in that virtual landscape to weight the geographical preference of your other summits and multiply by your other âpeople who activated like you also activatedâ score.
Be simple in a GIS (e.g. QGIS heatmap function will do this âout of the boxâ) . Bit harder in pure code!
