There are a number of ways to make a meeting interesting:

  • Who has the smallest/lightest equipment for the most bands?
  • Who is the fastest QRV on shortwave using a telescopic mast and wire antenna (every move has to be perfect).
  • Who has the most innovative ideas for practical use?
  • An antenna test similar to HB9SOTA. Seven SOTA antennas compared using WSPR on a summit
