Sota in the Fog: I/AB-314 (Pizzo Cefalone) IW0HK

Hello Om,
today a very fog activation on a nice summit I/AB-314 (Pizzo Cefalone) in the Gran Sasso area of Abruzzo. The weather was bad… fog all day… so i climb the 2553 mt. summit after a grey 2 hours walk… in the fog again… and finally i reach the top… but everything was white… fog fog fog. I made 20 qso with two S2S with HB9AFI/P and EA2WX/P (Thanks !!) using my Ft-817, with at-100 tuner and a simple random wire antenna with 9:1 Balun. Finally in the last part of the day the fog was off and sun was on the Gran Sasso mountain. Always nice to go around with Sota !!
