I am out in France near Tarascon sur Ariege. Thinking about activating Mont Béas. Could you give me some route details please. Starting point, south or north ridge, how is the trail marked abd how easy to follow?

I’m sorry if I was late to answer but I was far from home on sota :fu:.
The easiest path but the longest is from the Col des Agnes.
The shortest but more difference of level is in attachment part.

Hi Andre

I activated Mont Beas on the 9th of October. Thanks for your advice re the route, much appreciated. A fine exposed route! We had a clear sunny day so had some good views from the summit and the descent was easy, nice and dry unlike the day of your activation.
