Very cool indeed and thanks for sharing.
The trip looked like fun and I especially liked the “hanging” wood log fire for cooking.

Thank you all for your kind feedback. I will be very happy to meet again on the radio. It would be so good to do activation in the South Urals together!

Great video. The music was interesting. I loved the ‘hammock’ fire!!. And of course the long, long ski back to the car.
How many km on skis ??
David
Hi, David!
Thank you for feedback. The song that accompanies the descent is sung - Just don’t, don’t slow down !!! etc…)))
And the last song is about the winter sun. We missed it so much.
The way from the car to the top is about 12 km. On the way, we climbed a parallel ridge and crossed it. Then we climbed to the highest point of the Belyagush ridge - SO-073. The problem was in the snow - it began to melt and fall deeply. This slowed down the sliding of the skis.

Thank you Vlad for sharing this adventure.
Finally a video from the floating fireplace in action. Looks like you all had a good time.

Joe, thanks for the feedback!
When I first appeared here on this wonderful amateur radio resource, I never imagined that the ancient technology of the Neanderthals could be of interest and success) I, of course, have a Jet Boil, but old habits cannot be changed

And an open fire also keeps everyone warm and just is good for our mood.
Unfortunately that is heavily regulated here in Austria. I would not start a fire on a summit. You can bet that this will draw attention. So I enjoy the video of it even more.

In an area where there are more bears than people, you can probably still afford this luxury. Of course, we comply with the restrictions on starting a fire, if it works, for example, in nature reserves. But winter, everything - special conditions.
