Indeed. I don’t claim to have invented it and when writing about it, either on here or on youtube comments, I often mention that being on a hill at 0600 and a high SFI had a big part to play in any contacts I made.
I like it because it’s different, easy/quick to set up, cheap and very light. Oh, and it’s a 1/4 vertical on a short mast.
