Now that I have uploaded the log and have a recorded 1003 points I feel that it is safe to respond.
Many thanks to all for their kind words and to Barry in particular for starting this off. Particular thanks also to today’s spotters, Martin, G4ENZ and Stewart, G0LGS.
It has been an extremely enjoyable three years (with a few pretty grim episodes thrown in) and I fully intend to keep going for a while yet so it is not yet time for chasers to stop looking out for my callsign; thanks to them all! The great disappointment was the small number of regular contacts I was able to speak to today so I hope to speak to you all soon.
Lastly, thanks to Vicki, M6BWA, for her company on many of the activations as well as in the hundreds of miles we walked together in the years Before Sota.
