Stage two in my return to hill fitness went well today with an activation of G/SE-010 & SE-011, Firle Beacon and Wilmington Hill. A great day out with some fantastic weather and reasonable radio despite a full blown CW contest wiping out the bottom end of 40m Must get a 30m link added to my dipole! The foot performed perfectly and I positively romped up the hills! Full report can be found here

Glad to hear you are on the mend and thanks for the link to your report. Nice summits which I did quite a few years ago…as my son now lives down in the area I must visit him soon and try and complete SE :slight_smile:

Be nice to have you in my backyard - now that is one summit lighter with the loss of Swyre Head.
Hopefully will be back through to S Wales after I have been to the Lakes.

Hi Glyn,

more than 2 years ago I was at G/SE-010 with my friend Mike G6TUH, it was indeed a very nice activation over there. At the time WX was excellent and I only complained a bit about midges but no side effects :slight_smile: :wink: .
