Rain and flooding in parts of Scotland

Quite a few parts of Eastern Scotland are suffering from flooding after the torrential rain we had yesterday. To give you some idea of just how much water there is contrast these two photos of Faskally Dam, Pitlochry. One was taken yesterday after on 18hrs heavy rain, the other is the more normal view.

The power station is on the left and if you compare the height of the water to the walkway over the tailraces you can see the river level is 6-10ft higher!

I think 've been there several times. Is it, where the salmon ladder is, isn’t it? Normally the anglers stand between the rocks of a small runlet fishing the salmons before they reach the ladder
