QSOs not allowed to be logged under club callsign

Just want to make sure this is correct. Club callsigns are not allowed to have an account and any QSOs logged using a club callsign should be logged under the activators account.

As Tom says yes. I do lots of activations now using a callsign of a club set up to do SOTA activities, the club call is MS0TA and I log the activities I do using that call under my personal SOTA account, MM0FMF.

So you put the club call sign under “Callsign Used” but under your SOTA login, correct?

If you think about what happens to the log then you will understand why it has to be that way.

You log the callsign used so that chasers get a “match”

You use your account so you, personally, get the points.
