QSL cards

In reply to 2E0YYY:

Walt, I’ve been absolutley inundated with QSL cards over the past
couple of years! So much so, that I’m looking toward employing the
services of a QSL manager… Whatever that involves.

I am amazed to hear that, Mike. I have received QSLs from about 1% of my VHF/UHF QSOs … and less than 1% of the FM contacts. Nearly all the QSLs I do receive are from outside the UK. In the last batch which arrived last week, the vast majority of cards related to contacts in 2008 - 2009.

On the other hand, for QSOs on digital modes (PSK31, PSK63, JT65, etc) I am receiving a 90% QSL rate via eQSL.cc within 1 week of the contact.

Walt (G3NYY)

My other camera is Canon D7, bit heavy for my sota-bacpack.
I have used my iPod touch for some pictures, but the quality of the pictures isnt the best.

Keep it next to your body under your clothes when you next go activating until you need it. Lithium based batteries do not like temps below freezing.
