Qrm +++

Don, congrats on making the trip in the end. Don’t let the empty vessels get you down… at least you know that you’ve done it without running 3KW into a MonstIR

I’ll echo what David said: no VHF activation would be complete without yourself and Roger in the log, and Graham G3OHC too of course.

73 and catch you on the bands soon
Chris

One solution to the QRM problem is for the ‘activiator’ (or DX station) to simply shift to a new frequency and leave the ‘pack’ on the previous frequency. After all it’s not a contest and it doesn’t matter how many contact are made or simply tune the band and answer stations who are calling CQ.
Most of these problems are due to the use of the DX cluster particularly on CW when it appears that many of the callers have no idea what is going on.

It was me I was referring to… to be asked to repeat my call… even though I think I do it enough.

If not please let me know.

Just listened to you give your call out, repeatedly and quite clearly, to a chaser who seemed incapable of grasping it. With the obligatory 59 of course.

Ho hum

(Mind you, I took me a few goes to get my callsign understood… sorry!)
