Problems accessing SOTAwatch

Hi,

I've recently had problems accessing SOTAwatch via my usual URL

http://new.sotawatch.org/spots.php

getting messages that the site was closed for maintenance,

Accessing it via the SOTA home page link i.e. the URL

http://www.sotawatch.org/

seems ok. Have I missed an announcement? Should I update my bookmarks?

Hi Rick.
The first link does not work for me either.
The second link is ok.

I also cannot get sotawatch to work on my mobile phone - I get a MySQL error message once I’ve logged on.

The situation with spotlite is similar i.e.

mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Access denied for user ‘sotawatch’@‘66.226.14.60’(using password: etc.

The latter seems to have been inaccessible since at least Saturday.

Hi Rick

Same problem here with Spotslite.
Spotlite works ok and the link from there to latest spots works as well.

EDIT: only from phone though - get gatekeeper error if I try it from computer?

In reply to M0RCP:

Everything is working here Rick (PC and phone). Looks like you are using out-of-date URLs on your phone and pc.

All problems now sorted. Many thanks to all who helped.

Just one question: would it be possible to change things so that
a blank date field and a blank time fields default to ‘today’ and 'now’
respectively? I’m thinking of those cold winter activations where you
don’t want to keep your gloves off for long.

An email to Jon 'ZFZ is probably your best course of action.
