I like the design and I think it would be great for temporary use (of a few days), but not for SOTA (a couple of hours).
I don’t think there are 6 tension wires per section, plus the locking wire. I think there is only one wire per section, threaded through all the joints. Therefore there are only two ends, which are attached to the locking arm.
Also, I think the tower should be assembled vertically, from the position it started in on the trolley.
The triangular plate is on top, and you attach your antenna and guys to this. Then, assemble the first section and tension the wire. Next, lift that section and assemble the second section. And so on.
The tower will grow upwards and twist. Finally, peg the guys out.
