School is back in Scotland but didn’t appear to affect the parking at Linn of Dee - oh, tourists

The old dear with the “parking attitude” was Scottish in a car with Edinburgh plates on it, definitely from Morningside (my fellow Scots will know exactly the type!) There was a group of 5 people in their 30s from Aberdeen building bikes up, no social distancing there. I was impressed they got 3 mountain bikes and 2 blokes in a Vauxhall/Opel Corsa! Cars with French and Italian plates. Plus many motor homes and it’s £10 to park an motorhome in the car park now. Gulp! Plenty of Sassenachs still, another week and half before English schools go back assuming Boris and his Vaudeville troop of a government haven’t fouled that up yet.

I had my mask on whilst booting up, mainly to keep from breathing in midges.

Interesting how they made it when there is a five mile restriction order on Aberdeen - oh, forgot, they are of an age which is immune to Coronavirus so do not have to abide by the restrictions applicable to everybody else (except footballers of course) :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

Maybe they were off to Barnard Castle afterward for an eye-test?

For us Sassenachs, would that be like a Miss Jean Brodie character?

More wealthy and arrogant, I believe. Nice looking area, though.

Go to Mid Wales folks. It’s every bit as beautiful as GM and G/LD. We were out walking for 7 hours yesterday and saw two other humans. The valleys are stunning and the isolation most splendid!
