Thanks to all who contacted me on the summit on Saturday 21/11/2015.
The short route to the summit is open again, so I made it in 1.5h to EA/TF-002.
I started calling out on 15m and Mike / G6TUH directly answered Conditions were good, so I reached half Europe and two US stations. After some time I switched to 20m, but at 12UTC I think a contest started and conditions became different.
43 QSOs in the remains of the old observatory and 18deg C T-Shirt weather was fantastic! As you can see on the photos, the air was extremely clear and one had a really sharp view on all the scenery around.
In my opinion hiking Guajara is much nicer compared to El Teide, as you can see the beautiful highest mountain of Spain all the time *g
Looking forward to the next time, probably mid-2106.
