A rather officious woman was shouting parking instructions to people parking at Cloudside this afternoon. She was working in the garden above the parking spot. I’m afraid to say that I ignored her - as did others.
Beware!

Was being officous in an official capacity or was she being officious off her own bat?
If it’s the latter, we could join together and buy her a Parking Attendant’s hat. I mean how can you take officialdom seriously if they’re not wearing a the correct headgear?

Off her own bat. The parking had nothing whatever to do with her.
Nice lady. Often have a natter with her when I am parking up or departing. She speaks very highly of you too Richard.

She wasn’t making many friends yesterday.
There is some seriously rubbish and inconsiderate parking that periodically takes place on Cloudside. I’m sure she was just trying to help. I get on well with her, and her daughter and son-in-law that rent the cottage there from her. But I don’t like the dog Troy that always runs around the garden barking at me every time I ascend The Cloud. Apparently, it is only me he takes exception to. I have been told that he even recognises the sound of my car engine now and runs out of the house into the garden to give me a good shouting at every time he hears it.
